Algonquin Golf Course
for nights

A golf course exactly like nothing else…

Breathtaking views. Ocean breezes. A challenging game. For over a century, golfers have traveled to The Algonquin to test their skills and take in the views.

Today, our 7,000-yard, par 72 course – redesigned in 2000 by renowned course architect Thomas McBroom – will delight and challenge golfers of every level.

Originally constructed in 1894, the course boasts Canada’s oldest clubhouse. For a membership fee of five dollars, golfers could use the links and the clubhouse throughout the season.

In the 1920s, the course was renovated based on plans by legendary designer Donald Ross. These upgrades included the creation of The Executive Nine, an additional nine holes that provided a less taxing alternative to a full round of golf. In order to continue its tradition of golfing excellence, The Algonquin broke ground for the McBroom redesign signature course in 1998.

Today’s course, which takes full advantage of its location on the shores of Passamaquoddy Bay, is full of beautiful vistas and breathtaking scenery. The unforgettable oceanfront sequence of holes on the back nine in particular will challenge golfers of all levels.
